National Institute of Standards and Technology – Temperature Controls
This advanced testing laboratory facility is 284,000 square feet and three levels of technical laboratories, a six-bay clean room block, and supporting administrative spaces. With temperature control, vibration control, and power quality, the lab spaces have achieved a level of environmental stability not yet replicated anywhere else on campus

A $3 million plus design-build contract engineered in-house by Merit Electric. A "Class A" software development center of 130,000 square feet in Longmont, Colorado, the project incorporated a data center, UPS and generator backup of critical loads, a raised floor power distribution system throughout the facility, and sophisticated daylight-sensing control of dimming T-5 indirect lights.

A $1.1 million plus design-build contract. A "Class A" office building of approximately 60,000 square feet in Fort Collins, Colorado, the project incorporated UPS and generator backup of critical loads as well as indirect lighting and low voltage lighting controls.

A $6.8 million plus design-build contract completed in nine months. Consisted of the remodel of four single-story buildings and a new construction infill to create a new lab and manufacturing facility of approximately 470,000 square feet in Longmont, Colorado. Included extensive clean rooms, a data center, and UPS and generator back-up of critical loads.
